STAR SAN DUO presents below the preliminary technical offer for a class 9A road and railroad

vehicle intended for a tram trackage with the track width of 1435 mm:

1. Volvo FMX 8x4 tridem D13 420HP

• Axle base 4300 mm, chassis made in 2022,

• 8x4 drive with tyre front 385/65R22.5, rear 315/80R22.5, trailing axle 385/65R22.5, trailing lift axle,

electrohydraulic steering,

• GVW 32 tons, technical GVW 32 tons, reinforced chassis frame,

• Non-sleeper cabin FMX type, number of seats 1+1, cabin colour white, central lock controlled by a remote

control,

• Volvo engine D13 dm3, Euro 6 phase D, 420 HP,

• Automatic gearbox I-shift AT2612F,

• Specialist layshaft for hydraulic pumps for track driving and the crane,

• Front axle load capacity 10000 kg (spring), rear axle load capacity 27000kg (cushions), suspension X-HIGH type,

• Possibility of lifting of the rear part of the chassis frame on cushions by approx. 100mm,

• Hitch fi 40mm for the coupling of tow bars for cars and road trailers,

• FMS module enabling the connection of GPS module which controls the parameters of the vehicle,

• Multimedia set with additional screen, speaker-phone, navigation with maps,

• Multifunction adjustable steering wheel, electrically controlled heated mirrors,

• Bi-xenon front headlamps, rear lamps in LED technology, automatic air-conditioning, Webasto parking heater,

LED daytime running lights.

2. Railway system

• Hydrostatic drive for railway wheels ensuring the highest fluidity and stability of movement,

• Unit prepared for driving on railway tracks of 1435mm width,

• Maximum speed in both directions approx. 40Km/h, running speed 5 km/h,

• Independent drum parking and service brakes on all wheels,

• Front truck mounted in front of the cabin with 2 drive wheels with the pitch diameter of 630mm,

• Rear truck behind the rear driving axles with four railway wheels, rotary pendulum bogie enabling the rerailing

of the vehicle on narrow rail crossings, wheels with the pitch diameter of 430mm,

• Large distance between railway axles guarantees increased stability of the vehicle when moving at high speed,

• Front and rear railway truck equipped with rubber shock absorbers which separate dynamic vibrations of the

trucks from the entire vehicle,

• Tandem feed pump supplemented with automatically controlled flow dividers ensures drive continuity on all

wheels without excessive single wheel slip,

• Railway wheels in accordance with PN-EN 15756-1+A1 and PN-EN 13715 standards,

• Two-way vehicle classified as 9A in accordance with PN-EN 15756-1+A1,

• Large oil cooler to maintain the correct oil temperature,

• Control desk in the cabin equipped with an ergonomic multi-functional joystick operated with one hand,

• Vehicle length approx. 12m.

Optional vehicle equipment not included in the price:

• Intermediate frame with Twist-Lock mounting prepared for the assembly of swap bodies and offshore container 20’,

• Railway lighting with certified LED railway lamps – Pc1, Pc1a Pc2, Pc5 and Tdl signals, three lamps at the front

and back, automatic switching when changing the direction of travel,

• Railway signal which uses SKN and SKW railway sirens placed on the roof of the cabin,

• Guide roll at the front on the cabin roof, additional folding arms for the protection of vehicle mirrors, platform

covering the roof with riffled aluminium sheet,

• LED work lighting which enables working on the car at night, 2 lamps at the front on the cabin roof, 2 lamps

at the back on the cabin roof, 2 lamps at the rear of the vehicle, 4 lamps for illuminating railway trucks,

2 lamps for illuminating the sides of the vehicle,

• Two LED flasher lamps placed at the front of the cabin roof, two additional LED flasher lamps placed at the rear

of the vehicle,

• Transportation Technical Supervision test of a new vehicle which enables registration as a special purpose vehicle,

• Special rigid coupler enabling the towing of cars on the trackway,

• Wagon braking system from the renowned Knorr Bremse company, enabling the towing of cars with maximum

24 axles,

• Monitoring system with 3 heated cameras, two cameras for the control of railway trucks, one rear view

camera, separate monitor in the cabin,

• Sinusoidal converter 24/230V with continuous power 3000 W, installation 230V in the cabin and on the left

and right side of the vehicle,

• Control based on PLC systems with a large monitor mounted in the cabin for the monitoring and controlling of

the installed equipment.

We cordially invite customers to our company headquarters to check the vehicle in person. All vehicles are located at our headquarters in Starachowice. WE HAVE PERMISSIONS of the Office of Technical Inspection and we can, in accordance with the regulations in force in Poland, perform a positive regulatory test with documentation reconciliation at the Office of Technical Inspection, and on its basis perform the first technical test of the vehicle at a diagnostic station in the country.
