Pushback tractor for narrow- and medium-body aircraft

The Kalmar Motor AB, FB250 conventional tractror has been designed for pushback, inter-gate towing and lighter to medium weight maintenance towing operations, with aircraft weights up to 230 tonnes. The FB250 is available in a choice of weights from weights from  15,000 kgs up to 25,000 kgs (depending on ballast).Featuring hydraulic suspension for the front axle, plus a unique gas-hydraulic suspension system on the operators cabin providing exceptional driver comfort. For added safety, the rear axle has centralised lock-outs and an auto-correct feature when operationing in four wheel or crab wheel co-ordinated steering modes.Together with the simplicity of design and latest technological innovation the FB250 produces safety enhanced high quality performance.
